Here is a still from the film of the performance of The Death of Kodak, which as you can tell took place in complete darkness. The players are momentarily illuminated by the digital flash unit on which the graphic score is written. The conductor (holding the flash unit) surprisingly gets to have the features of the face of the individual musician momentarily imprinted on his retina while each musicians in turn carries within them the gradually fading score…
