The Resonance Radio Orchestra will perform the short radiophonic work Buddy Holly’s Suitcase live on the evening of 10 September 2014 at the opening of the Science Gallery Pop Up, in the basement of Boland House, Saint Thomas’s Street, London SE1 (opposite The Shard), when SGL launches its Frequencies: Tune Into Life season. Resonance104.4fm is in residency there for the autumn and plans workshops, events and live broadcasts. Commissioned by Jim Whelton (aka Xentos “Fray” Bentos), the text by Ed Baxter is a meditation on Bergsonian time. Featured musicians include Sarah Angliss (theremin), James Dunn (tinnitus analyser and electronics), Peter Lanceley (electric guitar) and Art Terry (voice). By invitation only!
