Forthcoming performance in London – 14 November 2013

Posted: July 24, 2013 in News

The RRO is performing on 14 November 2013 at the Whitechapel Gallery as part of the exhibition Contemporary Art Society: Nothing Beautiful Unless Useful, curated by Anna Colin. The piece is called Songs of Dissolution and Practicality. Featured performers include Mercury Prize nominated singer Sam Lee, Bell Percussion-sponsored Royal College of Music alumna Louise Goodwin, Erkki-Sven Tüür Award winning violinist Elo Masing, and BASCA British Composer Awards shortlisted sound artist Chris Weaver; plus Carole Finer (ex-Scratch Orchestra), Rod Hunt (ex-Shimmy Rivers And And Canal), Robin “The Fog” Warren, and Eloise MacDonald (John Willcocks Prize winning violinist). Appearing on tape is acclaimed writer Jim Perrin. Doors open at 6.30pm and we anticipate the performance starting at 7pm. It will last about half an hour. That at least is the plan. It should be a corker.
Get a tickets here (includes afternoon talk and exhibition tour with the curator from 5pm).
